Midwestern (IA)

The Midwestern College Packers ceased operations in 1970 when the school closed due to financial problems. The school never sponsored football. Midwestern was a private non-sectarian institution located in Denison, Iowa, about 45 minutes northeast of Omaha, Nebraska. Midwestern, which never did receive accreditation, was one of the "Parsons Plan" colleges which opened in the mid-1960s, all of which closed by the mid-70s along with Parsons College itself when the end of the military draft sapped the schools of their primary enrollment base.
