Fort Worth Bowl
From Varsity Pride
The Fort Worth Bowl is a bowl game held at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas since 2003. The 2010 and 2011 games were moved to Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas due to renovations at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
Early on, the bowl had tie-ins with the Big 12 Conference and Conference USA, but the Big 12 was almost always unable to meet them due to sending two teams to BCS games. The Mountain West Conference took over the Big 12's tie-in in 2006, with secondary tie-ins for Army. Brigham Young had a tie-in for the 2011 game; as of 2014, the bowl has entered into a rotating series of tie-ins with the Big 12, Mountain West, Big Ten Conference, and Army.
