The Concordia University, Irvine Eagles compete as members of the Golden State Athletic Conference in NAIA Division I basketball. The school does not sponsor football. In 2015, the school will move to NCAA Division II and the Pacific West Conference. Concordia is a private Lutheran institution located in Irvine, California, about a 45 minutes southeast of Los Angeles. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
