The Southern Oregon University Raiders compete as members of the Cascade Collegiate Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Southern Oregon is a public institution located in Ashland, Oregon, about four and a half hours south of Portland. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 6,000.
