The McKendree University Bearcats compete as members of the American Midwest Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. McKendree is a private Methodist institution located in Lebanon, Illinois, about 20 minutes east of Saint Louis. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
