The Mitchell College Pequots compete as members of the New England Collegiate Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Mitchell is a private non-sectarian institution located in New London, Connecticut, about 45 minutes southeast of Hartford. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
