The Morris College Bearcats compete as independents in NAIA Division I basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Morris, a historically black college, is a private Baptist institution located in Sumter, South Carolina, about an hour east of Columbia. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
