The California Institute of Technology, or CalTech, Beavers compete as members of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. CalTech is a private non-sectarian institution located in Pasadena, California, about 15 minutes northeast of Los Angeles. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
