The Piedmont College Lions compete as members of the Great South Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Piedmont is a private Church of Christ institution located in Demorest, Georgia, about 75 minutes northeast of Atlanta. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
