The Saint Michael's College Purple Knights compete as members of the Northeast Ten Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Saint Michael's is a private Catholic (Society of Saint Edmund) institution located in Burlington, Vermont. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
