The Saint Mary's College of California Gaels compete as members of the West Coast Conference in NCAA Division I basketball. The school has not sponsored football since 2003. Saint Mary's is a private Catholic (Lasallian) institution located in the town of Moraga, California, just east of Oakland. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
