The Monmouth University Hawks compete as members of the Northeast Conference in NCAA Division I FCS football and in NCAA Division I basketball. Monmouth is a private non-sectarian institution located in the town of West Long Branch, New Jersey, in the heart of the Jersey Shore area. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
