The University of Northern Iowa Panthers compete as members of the Gateway Football Conference in NCAA Division I FCS football, and in the Missouri Valley Conference in NCAA Division I basketball. Northern Iowa is a public institution located in Cedar Falls, Iowa, near Waterloo. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 11,000.
