The High Point University Panthers compete as members of the Big South Conference in NCAA Division I basketball. The school has not sponsored football since 1951. High Point is a private Methodist institution located in High Point, North Carolina, near Winston-Salem. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
