The California State University, Sacramento, generally referred to as "Sacramento State", Hornets compete as members of the Big Sky Conference in NCAA Division I FBS football and in NCAA Division I basketball. Sacramento State is a public institution located in the capital city of Sacramento, California. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 23,000.
