The Gogebic Community College Samsons compete in the junior college ranks, but were a member of the Upper Peninsula Conference from 1949-1958. Gogebic is a public institution located in Ironwood, Michigan, at the westernmost end of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, about two hours east of Duluth, Minnesota.
