The Georgia Southern University Eagles compete in the Southern Conference in NCAA Division I FCS football and in NCAA Division I basketball. Georgia Southern is a public institution located in Statesboro, Georgia, just west of Savannah. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 15,000.
