The Bethany Lutheran College Vikings compete as members of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Bethany Lutheran is a private Lutheran institution located in Mankato, Minnesota, about 90 minutes southwest of Minneapolis. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 500.
Bethany Lutheran is located just outside downtown Mankato, half a mile from the Minnesota River. The leafy campus' main roads are Marsh Street, Division Street and Blue Earth County Road 17. There are no interstates in the immediate Mankato area, the main roads into Mankato are US 14 and US 169. The Ronald J. Younge Gymnasium, part of the Sports and Fitness Center is located on Division Street and Luther Court.
The Vikings' main rival is Crown.
The school has no players in the NFL nor NBA.
