The Dakota College at Bottineau Lumberjacks still compete at the junior college level as members of the Mon-Dak Conference, and are included here because while the school was not itself a member of the NAIA, its teams formerly competed as members of the NAIA-affiliated North Dakota College Athletic Conference. Dakota-Bottineau is a public two-year institution located in Bottineau, North Dakota, about three hours northwest of Grand Forks. The school has been known by a variety of names over the years, including North Dakota School of Forestry, North Dakota State-Bottineau, and Minot State-Bottineau. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 700.
