The Wilberforce University Bulldogs compete as independents in NAIA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Wilberforce, a historically black college, is a private Episcopal institution located in Wilberforce, Ohio, about an hour southwest of Columbus. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
