The Warren Wilson College Owls competes in the United States Small College Athletic Association; in 2011-12, the men's program competed as independents in NAIA Division II basketball. The school plays its home games at DeVries Gymnasium. The school does not sponsor football. Warren Wilson is a private Presbyterian institution located in Swannanoa, North Carolina, about 15 minutes east of Asheville. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
