The Virginia Intermont College Cobras ceased operations in 2014 when the school closed due to bankruptcy. Virginia Intermont was a private Baptist institution located in Bristol, Virginia, about two hours northeast of Knoxville, Tennessee.
The Cobras formerly played basketball at the Smith-Canter Gymnasium, colloqually known as the "Cobra Den".
