The Ohio Valley University Fighting Scots compete as members of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Ohio Valley is a private Church of Christ institution located in Vienna, West Virginia, a suburb of Parkersburg, about 90 minutes north of Charleston. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 500.
