The Eastern Oregon University Mountaineers compete in NAIA Division I as members of the Cascade Collegiate Conference in basketball, and in NAIA football as members of the Frontier Conference. Eastern Oregon is a public institution located in the La Grande, Oregon, about four hours east of Portland. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
