The Parsons College Wildcats no longer compete in collegiate athletics. The school closed in 1973. Parsons was a private Presbyterian institution located in Fairfield, Iowa, about two hours southeast of Des Moines.
A small fact about Parsons' old campus, much of it is now the campus of Maharishi International University, a school that promotes the use, and study, of transcendental and holistic medicines.
