NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Consensus All-Americans

NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Consensus All-Americans are determined based on a point system. First team selections from recognized major selectors are awarded three points; second team selections two points; and third-team selections one point. The five highest totals (plus ties) are named consensus first-team All-Americans.
The recognized major selectors, as determined by the NCAA, are as follows (current selectors bold):

- Sporting News (1943-1946, 1997-present)
- Argosy Magazine (1945)
- True Magazine (1946-1947)
- Associated Press (1948-present)
- Look Magazine (1949-1963)
- United Press International (1949-1996)
- International News Service (1950-1958)
- National Association of Basketball Coaches (1957-present)
- United States Basketball Writers Association (1960-present)
