Cumberland can refer to:
- Cumberland University, commonly denoted as Cumberland (TN), located in Lebanon, Tennessee, or
- University of the Cumberlands, commonly denoted as Cumberlands (KY) (or, prior to 2005, as Cumberland (KY) when the official name was still Cumberland College), located in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
Despite the current difference in the common names (Cumberland vs. Cumberlands), for disambiguation purposes both schools should still be referred to with their state designation.
