The Pecan Bowl was a bowl game held in Texas from 1964-1970. It was originally held at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene, Texas; in 1968 it moved to Arlington, Texas.
The game was the annual college division playoff game for the Midwest Region. The name continues to be used colloquially for the "midwest" quarterfinal of the NCAA Division I FCS Playoffs, but those games do not meet the criteria for "bowl games".
