The University of Denver Pioneers compete as members of the Sun Belt Conference in NCAA Division I basketball, but will be moving to the Western Athletic Conference in 2012. The school has not sponsored football since 1960. Denver is a private Methodist institution located in Denver, Colorado. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 5,000.
