The Urbana University Blue Knights compete in NCAA Division II as members of the Great Lakes Football Conference for football, and the NCAA Division II Independents for basketball. The football team will join the Great Lakes Valley Conference as an associate member in 2012 when that conference begins sponsoring football. Urbana is a private non-sectarian institution located in Urbana, Ohio, about an hour west of Columbus. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
