The Covenant College Scots compete as members of the Great South Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Covenant is a private Presbyterian institution formerly based in Pasadena, California, but located since 1965 in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, about ten minutes southwest of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
