The Lakehead University Thunderwolves participate in basketball in Ontario University Athletics. Normally, this school would be outside the scope of this wiki, but Lakehead briefly competed in NAIA basketball in District 13 in the late 60s-early 70s, and appeared in one District 13 regional tournament. Lakehead is a public institution located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, about three hours northeast of Duluth, Minnesota. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 7,000.
