The University of Rhode Island, or "URI", Rams compete as members of the Colonial Athletic Association in NCAA Division I FCS football, and as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference in NCAA Division I basketball. URI is a public institution located in the south-central Rhode Island village of Kingston. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 19,000.
