The MacMurray College Highlanders compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Saint Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in basketball, and as members of the Illini-Badger Conference in football. With the dissolution of the Illini-Badger Conference following the 2007 season, the football team will become inaugural members of the Saint Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for football as well. MacMurray is a private Methodist institution located in Jacksonville, Illinois, about a half-hour west of Springfield. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
