The University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars compete as members of the Red River Athletic Conference, but at this time have never sponsored basketball nor football. Houston-Victoria is a public institution located in Victoria, Texas, about an two hours southeast of San Antonio and two hours southwest of Houston. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,500.
