The Barrington College Warriors ceased operations in 1985 when the school merged with Gordon College as a result of financial problems. At the time, the school was competing in NAIA basketball as as a member of the Naismith Conference. The school did not sponsor football. Barrington was an evangelical christian affiliated school located in Barrington, Rhode Island, near the Massachusetts border, east of Providence.
