The University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Dragons compete in NJCAA men's and women's basketball as members of the Bi-State Conference. UAFS will begin their provisional period as members of NCAA Division II in 2009. Arkansas-Fort Smith is a public institution located in Fort Smith, Arkansas, about two hours west of Little Rock. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 7,000.
