The Georgia State University Panthers compete as members of the Colonial Athletic Association in NCAA Division I basketball. The school does not currently sponsor football, although an intense feasibility study is underway. Georgia State is a public institution located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 20,000.
