The Northern Kentucky University Norse compete as members of the Atlantic Sun Conference in NCAA Division I basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Northern Kentucky is a public institution located in the Cincinnati suburb of Highland Heights, Kentucky. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 12,000.
