The Kennesaw State University Owls compete as members of the Atlantic Sun Conference in NCAA Division I basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Kennesaw State is a public institution located in Kennesaw, Georgia, about 20 miles north of Atlanta. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 19,000.
The campus is located along Frey Road in Kennesaw, just off Chastain Road (exit 271 off I-75 northwest of Marietta). Directly across I-75 and Chastain Road from the main campus lies the KSU Convocation Center (4,792).
Kennesaw State's main rivals are foes from their pre-Division I days, North Florida and South Carolina-Upstate.
No Owls have moved on to the NFL or NBA as yet.
