The Wilberforce University Bulldogs compete as members of the American Mideast Conference (1949-2012) in NAIA Division II basketball. Wilberforce, a historically black college, is a private Episcopal institution located in Wilberforce, Ohio, about an hour southwest of Columbus. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
