The Park University Pirates are members of the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference (1994-2015) (an NAIA Division II conference), but choose to compete in NAIA Division I as independents in basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Park is a private non-sectarian institution located in the northwest Kansas City suburb of Parkville, Missouri. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
