The William Woods University Owls compete as members of the American Midwest Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. William Woods is a private Disciples of Christ institution located in Fulton, Missouri, about 90 minutes west of Saint Louis. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
