The Meredith College Angels compete as members of the USA South Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III football and basketball. As a women's college, the school does not sponsor football or men's basketball. Meredith is a private Baptist women-only institution located in the capital city of Raleigh, North Carolina. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
