The Whittier College Poets compete as members of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III football and basketball. Whittier is a private Quaker institution located in Whittier, California, about 15 minutes south of Los Angeles. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
