The Eureka College Red Devils compete in NCAA Division III as members of the Saint Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in basketball, and as members of the Illini-Badger Conference in football. With the dissolution of the Illini-Badger Conference following the 2007 season, the football team will become inaugural members of the Saint Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for football as well. Eureka is a private Disciples of Christ institution located in Eureka, Illinois, about 20 minutes northwest of Bloomington. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
