The Lee University Flames compete as members of the Gulf South Athletic Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Lee is a private Church of God institution located in Cleveland, Tennessee, about a half-hour northeast of Chattanooga. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
