The Dickinson State University Blue Hawks compete as members of the Dakota Athletic Conference (1922-2012) in NAIA football and NAIA Division II basketball. Dickinson State is a public institution located in Dickinson, North Dakota, about 90 minutes west of Bismarck. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
