The Florida Southern College Moccasins compete as members of the Sunshine State Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Florida Southern is a private Methodist institution located in Lakeland, Florida, midway between Orlando and Tampa. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
