The Minot State University Beavers compete as members of the Dakota Athletic Conference (1922-2012) in NAIA football and NAIA Division II basketball. The school is currently in provisional status, moving to NCAA Division II. Minot State is a public institution located in Minot, North Dakota, about two hours north of Bismarck.
